Windows device driver information for Clear View II
The Clear View II is a type of mass storage device that is hosted on the Universal Serial Bus interface port of the host computer system. As a mass storage device it is normally deployed as a component of another equipment to provide additional storage space. These types of mass storage devices are commonly seen in newer models of digital camera equipments. They provide the user with the flexibility of storing more image or video files whenever applicable. Normally when the host hardware component is connected to a host machine via the Universal Serial Bus interface port the device driver allows the underlying operating system environment to detect both the internal and the mass storage device supported. In a way this type of hardware component can be compared to a removable hard drive. The main difference is that it is used primarily based on the requirements of the host equipment.
Outdated Drivers?
Unless you update your drivers regularly you may face hardware performance issues.
However, we would like to inform Xsens that virtually all of our windows 7 users have been having difficulties installing/running MT Manager, especially when their system is windows 7 x32. The situation would be better if their systems are windows 7 x64. Our users would like Xsens to improve MT Manager's compatibility for windows 7. C: Program Files Common Files Xsens USB-serial converter driver If you require separate drivers, you can download them here. If you are using the MTi with the standard USB cable (CA-USB-MTi) (i.e. Without a USB to serial converter) the correct drivers have to be installed. How to use: 1) Download the MT Software Suite and install it on a Windows machine (you may skip this step and use default sensor configuration), then download the MT SDK for Linux and install it on a Linux machine (this should be the machine that ROS is installed on).

The device driver of the Clear View II is partly responsible first for identifying its presence to the host computer system. Secondly the device driver is responsible for establishing the necessary communication infrastructure that will allow data exchange via the Universal Serial Bus cable. When the correct device driver is installed into the host computer system the computer user has the flexibility of copying files from the mass storage device and transferring them to the local hard drive. In the same manner the computer user also has the option of copying files into the mass storage device. Normally files that are stored in these types of devices are already in digital format. This means that they do not have to undergo any type of file conversion process. The computer user therefore can readily apply post processing effects whenever necessary depending on his requirements or how the file will be used. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for Windows and Clear View II errors before installing any driver updates.
